Let's take a look and see if we can help out with these crashes here. Since you've got multiple consoles on the same wifi connection we might be looking at an IP address conflict. I've seen that happen in some cases. Setting a static IP address on your consoles might help out with that.

I've seen this same error come up from time to time. Can we try running through some steps to see if we can help fix that here. First, can you try repairing the game in Origin to see if that helps at all? 

 

If you right-click on Apex Legends in your Origin Library you should see the Repair option in the menu that comes up. Let me know if you're still running into the same error message after that.

Hey, are you guys trying to squad up for ranked or normal? If you play a game of ranked solo first (good luck with randoms) does that change anything?

Hey @shpetim02

 

I think you might have misunderstood how those rewards work. That just means that you would earn up to 1200 coins or crafting metal throughout the course of the Battlepass by leveling it up. It doesn't mean that you would receive all of that at once. As you level up your Battlepass you continue earning rewards, so by the end of it you could potentially earn those amounts of metals and coins if you max it out.

Can you give me a bit more info on what's been happening with these freezes? Which platform do you play on? Does it seem like it's happening at a certain spot in-game, or is it just random? Are you seeing any sort of error messages at all?

Hi, the S4 trackers are unlocked for the first 13 free levels of the Battle Pass. Once anyone hits level 13 of the BP they should have all the trackers, with Octane's being the last. Outside of those who paid to boost, very few folks will have gotten to level 13 of the BP at this stage so you likely won't see it as a commonly held badge until next week.

Your machine may be trying to use the video processing on your CPU rather than your GPU. Please try these steps to help prevent that:

 

  1. Open the nvidia Control Panel
  2. Click Manage 3D settings
  3. Click the Program Settings tab
  4. Click the Add button
  5. Select the game from the list or click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex\r5apex.exe
  6. Select r5apex.exe and then Open
  7. Customise individual settings if you like
  8. Exit nvidia control panel and try playing.

We've sent up some reports of this issue for investigation. In the meantime you should still be able to purchase coins by going directly to the PSN Store instead of trying to purchase them in-game.

Gotcha. Can you also try clearing out your Origin cache for me to see if that helps as well? For more info on how to clear the cache check out the EA Help website

Hey @Midnight9746

 

Have you checked your Origin settings to see if the Automatically start Origin option is enabled? If you open the settings and click on the Application tab you should see a section called Start-up Options. Try disabling this option if it's currently active. That should prevent the Origin client from starting up automatically when Windows boots up.

Hey @RDGZ4

 

Uninstalling the game wouldn't reset your account. Your inventory in Apex Legends is saved on the server, so even if you uninstall and reinstall the game you should still have all your stuff. 

 

Is it possible that you might have been playing on a different account before now? Do you have any other accounts on your Xbox that you use to play games?

If you're still not able to see anyone on your Origin friends list can you try clearing out your cache to see if that helps at all? You can find more details on how to clear it over at the EA Help website
