@patrikmicrosoft Hey! Thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear that the issue was fixed for your friend but sorry that it is still not working correctly for you. Just to check, have you tried to uninstall/reinstall the game yet? If it isn't tracking the placement matches at all, you may need to give this a go and see if that helps fix the issue. @uranuo Hey! I'm sorry that you're also experiencing this issue. The good news is that the team is investigating this! But I do have a couple of questions to ask:

  • Does this only happen when playing the new event?
  • As soon as the infinite looping starts, does it carry over into other game modes as well?

Thanks for letting us know @Tomr1s and sorry to hear you are having trouble accessing the overlay to invite friends.

Which Windows OS are you using with Connect? Is it 10 or 11? Previous versions of Windows might not work with our Connect overlay.

Can I also ask, do you run the game through Steam or Epic as well? If so, can you disable their overlays in the launcher, to see if this allows you to bring the overlay up in Connect in case they are interfering with it?

Do you run any programs in the background of your computer, that might conflict with the game...

I'm sorry that you've been experiencing these spikes with your ping while playing the game. Do you notice when this happens that everyone else in the match gets disconnected, or does everyone lag but remain in the match? If you do get disconnected, do you see any error codes in particular?

Would you mind also going through the steps here and letting me know if you see any improvements with the ping?

Sorry that you are having trouble getting the Pressure Cooking challenge completed. For this challenge, you need to successfully complete one situation in Rainbow Six Siege. Situations are different tutorial missions available in the Learning Area playlist. You should be able to navigate to the Learning Area within the game, and then you will see the Situations listed above Tutorials in the menu. Hello @peppatope2 we are aware of issues of Alpha Packs not opening in the past, but this was found to be a visual issue where the players would receive the item in their inventory.

Have you been able to check your inventory for any new items or extra renown the game has given you recently?
