Hi Aimanaliiiiii,

Just to confirm, you are on PS4?

The initial download on PS4 is not the whole game, it's just the initial game data to allow the game to launch.

You can check the download progress of the actual game by highlighting it in the menu, pressing the Options button and selecting Information. It will then show the download progress there.

Thanks for giving that a try.

You mention a few different mice, do they all have their own software or just Plug-n-Play?

I'd certainly also advise trying in a Clean Boot, just to make sure nothing else is interfering with the game at all. You can do that through the steps in the Support Article here

Thank you for contacting us, we're sorry to hear that's the case.

Do you use any overlays at the same time as the game? For instance Discord, or MSI? This is something that can effect the game controls, so it's worth trying with these disabled.

It would also be worth checking the game settings file in the My Documents, and trying to move that to the Desktop. This will reset the settings, and it would be worth seeing if that helps.

You'd want to get them to run through the connection troubleshooting steps suggested above. Particularly around Forwarding the Ports that the game requires.

Just to confirm even after fixing this it will go back to this mode if you try to swap characters, or it might then work for the whole session and only occur again the next day?

Hey guys,

Thank you for reporting this to us, apologies for the delayed response.

Just to confirm the default Save Game location would be here:
  • %userprofile%\Documents\Anno 1800\accounts


One thing I'd ask you to try if you haven't already, is trying to open/save the game from a different Windows User Profile with Admin rights. You can do this through the steps in the guide here. This would be to check if this may be a rights issue.

The first thing we'd advise, if you haven't already is verifying the game files. This will check for missing or corrupt files and replace them. For Uplay you can do this by clicking on the menu under the game in the Games List. For Steam you can follow the steps in the guide here.

What platform are you playing the game on?

Unfortunately it's not possible for us to manually unlock trophies, so for the moment you would need to continue playing games to try and unlock this in the meantime.
