Hey, we can't share much in the way of specifics but I recommend reaching out to support to investigate what happened.

From your description it sounds like your account may have been compromised and used by a bad actor while you were away, but that's just speculation from the info given. Be sure to check for any mails from EA since you stopped playing, too.

Thank you. Also, can I check if you use a connected controller, Xbox or otherwise? It looks like the device has some sort of integration with controllers. 

Another thing I wonder, is if the game is trying to use it as a microphone. If you open the Sound settings in Windows does it show as an input device? If so, can you try setting a different input device and see if anything changes?

Thank you for the post, this of course shouldn't be happening.

Can I check on what specifically activates? Does it launch anything or does it "just" turn on the camera light? Is anything recorded/saved? Do you have any macros or anything to automatically turn on the camera under other circumstances.

Also can I check your camera model?

  • Clear Cache:

It is entirely likely that the ban is a completely separate issue to the inappropriate club name.

If you've already raised a case to the Terms of Service team on this issue and they've declined to overturn the sanction there is nothing further that can be done, the Terms of Service team have the final say on these matters.
