  • Wipeout is no longer ranked
  • Wipeout now has backfill (new players join if someone leaves) and is continuous (at the end of the match there is a map vote and a new match will start in a few seconds)
  • An issue with rank points being awarded to someone that had left the match has been fixed

  • Enabled ranking system for rocket arena Arena 1v1 2v2 and Wipeout 4v4 these models are no longer backfilled or continuous when a match ends players requeue to play again (to see the ranks you can go to Quickplay and click the rank icon to the right of Arena - The Ranking system is work in progress, you may experience some issues, details about the system are not being made available at this moment

Unreported changes before Weekend 2:

  • The Implosion Weeball’s ground pull (negative knockback) has been increased from -250 to -300
  • The Implosion Weeball’s splash radius has been increased form 260 units to 280 units

During Weekend 2 at the start of Day 2 CET, there were some unreported changes with the Shaft that we decided to not reveal until after the weekend:

  • The Shaft’s rate of fire has increased from 55ms to 46ms (fires faster now)
  • The Shaft’s damage has been reduced from 7 to 6 damage
  • The Shaft’s air knockback has been reduced from 9.8 to 9.6

Additionally:

  • On Day 2 the Melee’s damage was been reduced from 100 to 75 damage
  • On Day 3 the changes to Outpost Dunia were reverted on Sunday
  • On Day 3 the Melee’s animation was made faster to better match the instant hit when attacking with it

Masterserver and matches

  • There are now conditions that keep the warmup happening for unlimited time until there is a sufficient amount of players to start the game with, which depends on the mode, player count and custom game settings, then the warmup time limit starts and players can ready up to start the match or the match will start once the warmup time limit ends (if a player leaves after the warmup time limit starts and there aren’t enough players yet, the warmup time will go back to infinite until more join)
  • The masterserver is now faster to detect changes and situations where an extra player would be brought in and create a 6v5 are now rarer (still needs a complete fix)

Interface

  • Fixed the Dubai server name in the map intro screen appearing for servers that weren’t Dubai
  • Fixed the flag next to the Dallas server being the UAE
