Hello AGupwhy7,

I believe DLC content is not transferable across game launchers.

If you friend wanted to use the Amusements DLC you bought him from Steam, he would have to have own the Anno 1800 base game from Steam as well.

If he bought any DLC from Uplays Ubisoft Store, he could only use it if he bought Anno 1800 from Uplay.

Hope this clears that up for you.

Hello Clickbeetle, thank you for submitting your save file.

I believe your issue is one that has been reported already, due to the longer natured names of characters and quests in foreign languages.

This is scheduled to be updated in the Land of Lions update.

As a workaround, are you able to temporarily switch the language to English? If not can you post the names of the books you need to find in English here and we can investigate this further for you, thank you

Hey sinny1,

we're aware of some quests seemingly randomly "breaking" (which then results in this grey box issue). The only way to "solve" it in your case is by letting the timer run out or cancel the quest.

Our team is investigating this issue and we'll let you know via future release notes when we have found a fix.

I understand you have verified the integrity of your Steam files.

Would it however be possible to try the steps in this support article including verifying the game files in Uplay?
